This delights conservatives worldwide. They seem hyperfocused on making sure mass extinctions happen as soon as possible. They are succeeding.
If you aren't fighting conservatism, you aren't fighting climate change.
Fighting is a harsh word.
If you dont go for a climate dictatorship, fighting will lead us nowhere except for more rigid opinions and frustration.

I'm not trying to convince conservatives. They cannot be convinced or reasoned with. We are far past attempts to negotiate.
Fighting is not a harsh enough word. Conservatives need to be completely removed from relevancy in order for global warming to be addressed.
The thing is.

We are experiencing in some parts (europe for me) the opposite effect. Some which not went full retard and become right wing supporters, are becoming conservatives.

Even if we do not convince them. Waiting for them to die out is time we do not have.

That depends on human decisions.
Phase out fossil fuels and end deforestation over the next few decades and it never happens.
Keep on burning more each year? A few decades.

It doesn't have to be that way. Do what you can to put your thumb on the scale of policy, and we might shift things.
