that alt text is really helpful lmao
Still mad about the guy in front of me at Oppenheimer where it was no problem if he sat back in his seat like a normal person, but instead he craned forward most of the time so the back of his head was non-stop covering part of the screen. Still, maybe I’m being unfair and he had some sort of eye condition where you can only see a cinema screen if you reduce the distance to it by 0.2%.
This is incredibly unrealistic, I have never had this problem the seats are always tall enough to see over every one in front of you all the people in the back are just complaining for no reason
Tap for spoiler
I'm 6'4 btw
It used to be more of a problem. The theaters I went to as a kid in the 80s had barely any rise to them. They were almost flat. Modern theaters are just better designed.
This is what it's like going to any event in the Netherlands.
Poor kids
As someone who was a short kid I know how they feel. Now that I’m a tall grown man, sucked in.
August ninth? Today? Wait... He's making new ones?!
He's making a few new ones over at https://www.thefarside.com/new-stuff, but anything else is just a rerun from his newspaper days. It has today's date because it's what was rerun today, not because it was originally posted today.
Do kids even go to theaters to watch movies these days?
I can't remember the last time I saw any kids under 10 in a theater in years.
Maybe because you don't watch children movies anymore?
LOL That's a distinct possibility! I honestly didn't think of that!
you'd better believe the Minecraft movie was packed with em
I don't know how old they were but that chicken jockey kids definitely like going to the cinema ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The Far Side
Hello fellow Far Side fans!
About this community and how I post the comic strip… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips and one of those was The Far Side. These days of course you find just about anything online including www.thefarside.com where they post several comics a day and I repost them here. Just to note, the date you see in my posts is not the initial release date, but the date they were posted on the website.
The Far Side is a single-panel comic created by Gary Larson and syndicated by Chronicle Features and then Universal Press Syndicate, which ran from December 31, 1979, to January 1, 1995 (when Larson retired as a cartoonist). Its surrealistic humor is often based on uncomfortable social situations, improbable events, an anthropomorphic view of the world, logical fallacies, impending bizarre disasters, (often twisted) references to proverbs, or the search for meaning in life… Read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Far_Side
