Wouldn't that significantly increase the time it takes to download? Why not use a vpn
Different purposes, I2P is a separate network layered on top of IP. A VPN is often used to change one's internet facing IP.
Download speed is irrelevant when you can just start something and let it run over night as well. Least that's my use case.
I agree with the download speed not being an issue. People used to get dvds in the mail and it worked fine. It does help that my i2p is on a server that is always running anyway.
If you can add i2p trackers to jackett or something it should work. You would need to connect the whole stack to the i2p network or the i2p container if using docker.
I have not tried it myself but be sure to let us know how it goes if you do get it working. Also try asking on an i2p community.
got the whole I2P part working. just adding postman to prowlarr doesnt work. when i try to add it as a indexer i am met with Your request was found to be in violation of the site's policy. in the log file
So Sonarr and Radarr need to use the I2P proxy as well? I am uing TrueNAS for the apps. I will spin up a I2P container and do some testing.
Prowlarr can connect through an http proxy. Theoretically, you can use the http proxy used to access i2p, and then add postman.i2p as your tracker. But i have not tried this yet.
