Pretty rough shave with this razor. Stropped it a bunch, but stropping didn't really have the same effect as it did on the razor I used yesterday.
The lather was key in saving my skin from total destruction. Fanzine Saponifications makes great soap.

For the first time in a long time I got to have a (mostly) quiet and leisurely shave, today. I celebrated by pulling out my B&M Night Music, my trusty old Maggard M3 and its brother Omega synthetic brush. This is my original set from when I first got into the hobby. It was glorious. The smell took me back. It was my first artisanal and it was such an experience. Still got a beautiful lather and a brilliant shave. This time, I even picked up a little coffee in the scent. Must have been the vanillin aging. Loved it. Made my day. Happy shaving!
