- Brand new flavour
A brand-new mystery flavour is available in limited edition bags sold exclusively at Waitrose and John Lewis, with the latter store also offering a pick and mix pop up which will include the unknown sweet. 2. Return of an old friend
As well as a new Quality Street making its way onto shelves, a returning favourite is set to make its return.
The limited edition Coffee Creme flavour is back and better than ever, with Waitrose offering shoppers the chance to snag a box for £6.
And the news has certainly gone down well with customers, with one excitedly writing: "Every year I beg the makers of Quality Street to bring coffee creams back to their collection tins and boxes,
"So to discover these is like 40 years of Christmases all coming together.
"They are absolutely delicious, with an intense coffee flavoured hit. I don't know why QS ever stopped making them. Merry, merry Christmas!"
- New sharing product
But Nestle haven't stopped there as the green triangle-inspired chocolate has also been transformed into a sharing product spotted on Asda's shelves, the Sun reported.
An 84g bar is priced at £3.50, and is described as having a "smooth, silky praline filling coated in a milk chocolate shell."
- The return of the paper tub
Paper tubs are also back this year, with the packaging expected to be rolled out at supermarkets across the country.
- Drop in chocolate
Another change which is likely to cause frustration is the drop in the number of sweets in the Quality Street box - while the price remains the same.
While the cost is set at around £7 in the UK, the tubs now weight around 550g, instead of the 600g we saw last year.
It is expected there is around 57 sweets or 19 servings in the tubs instead of the usual 63.
