This is a huge series, and I've loved every moment of it. I am a layperson with a heavy interest in physical sciences, even since childhood. I had a very analytical mind even as a child but ended up deep in cs and tech starting late 70's.

I've watched many videos on chemistry and particle physics with a huge wad of astrophysics as well. The male influences in my life were heavy into atmospheric, material, and earth sciences so I was exposed at an early age.

All this to say, the reason I personally found this course so enriching is that it formally filled-in so many "blanks" that I was unaware I even had. And even though I previously understood the bulk of the content to some degree, it managed to logically order it all in my mind, and give me a completely new perspective, and a new framework to tie together so many concepts.

I also thought the main professor was incredible. I learned a lot about my own teaching methods just by watching how incredibly adept his was at both the communication and technical aspects of in-class teaching.

Even if you only have time for 1st video in the series, I heartily recommend to anybody interested in an accessible, yet meaningful dive into physics.

There's actually a community specifically for OpenCourseWare and similar sorts of free college lectures kind of content.

Good share, but I'm posting this here because there is a conspicuous lack of knowledge surrounding physics/qm fundamentals

edit: I meant it, good share. I joined up and thank you as I didn't know it existed :)
