American minds cannot comprehend
"exercise? Yuck"
People will think you're poor if you don't drive everywhere in your gigantic douchemobile.
Motornormativity is a manifestation of classism.
American's: "If i am not sitting in traffic I am not doing it correctly."
Support bike and transit so people that want to drive can so with less cars infront of them, and people that don't want to drive have options to get around safety and effectively!
I always find it positively strange when I see some video about a route I takr every day.
Monday and Tuesday of that week were brutal. Area around Big Ben was so jammed up it took 3 light changes to get past.
People losing slippers, falling over after stopping, turning around and blocking everyone, weaving across lanes with no regard for others... Can't say I'll miss that :)
I wasn't aware of this recent London news. Thanks for the post!
I found this local's commentary regarding the strike and resulting bike traffic. It was interesting to watch and to see how well the lanes held up to rush traffic.
London tube strike cycling boom: Knightsbridge to Bank in rush hour
Why not replace public transit with a single clown car?
Also that looks so cool! Feels like a community!
Damn that’s awesome. Almost makes me wish the tube would stay closed. This is what we need our streets to look like to force the drivers to behave responsibly.
