Sometimes that's literally the only place you can find some music.
Like there's on old 2008 LP by the Virgins which was really great; then they signed with Atlantic and they forced the lead singer to replace everyone. The old label went under, and now the only way to find that CD is on discogs and some shitty rips uploaded to yt.
I feel like soulseek (nicotine+) doesn't have much of a learning curve. Someone competent enough to get and use a command line utility to download YouTube content could probably manage fine. Though optimally you want to be able to open a port, which isn't always an option for everyone.
