This is incorrect, the US has large deposits of Rare Earth metals, such as the Mountain Pass mine in California.

Rare earths are basically everywhere. In terms of the largest supplies of rare earth metals there are other countries like Brazil (now an enemy) and India (now an enemy) and Vietnam (now an enemy) and Australia ( ... ) and the US (now an enemy).
