That was a rough read; though I'm glad to have read it and feel enlightened on an aspect of misogyny I hadn't considered. Should she have suffered a miscarriage every publication that claimed she killed her own child should owe her reparations. Not to mention the way the police handled the situation.

The police are famously not real sympathetic to a really shocking level of human suffering, once you're a "suspect."
