My mother is obsessed with the northern lights. She went out last night to take pictures, and in true boomer fashion had her flash on.

It was very pink even to the naked eye, for a while the entire sky was lit up!

I saw it last night in my backyard in the middle of the city. It was dim with the naked eye but much clearer from my phone. If I planned ahead I could have found somewhere dark

Fingers crossed the storm holds on a few hours longer.
