Charlie Brown turns his head and looks at Violet and Patty standing behind him. Patty puts her hands akimbo and exclaims,"We're going to have a party, Charlie Brown, but we're not going to invite you!!"

He walks off saying, "What do I care?! I don't want to go to your ol' party anyway!"

Patty sits on the curb and asks,"I wonder if he really meant that?" Violet replies,"I think he did!"

Patty turns to Violet as she sits next to her and says,"Well, in that case, maybe we'd better invite him!"
