All I can do is wish her the best following the stuff for her vocal chords. Apparently, this is a nasty deal that can be brutal if you don't know what you're doing. Then again, I have an old friend of mine (Maybe a year or two apart, I'm not sure) who had a tonsillectomy, so I get it somewhat.
