So sad. So much material there will probably get trashed . I wish there was more practical ways of upcycling all that glass and industrial components.
A lot of that stuff could be reused. Tempered sheet glass that size is very expensive. It's not worth much any more but that's not the point, someone could and should use it. Repairing and reusing materials is labour intensive and expensive, that's why builders don't do it, until we insist they do it.
They'll build another shopping center with a few tallish buildings on them for residency+offices and a community center as well so I think they might reuse stuff? im not sure how it works
Oh! They should make a zombie movie there first or have a hella cool car chase through the middle. Either way, they get to destroy it for funzies.
Could also turn it into a limited time paintball arena.
There used to be an airsoft company that would do this. Sadly, they got sued into oblivion because it turned out they never actually got the proper waivers or permitting or insurance - they were telling everyone that they were filming a documentary or something.
Absolutely haunting. If you zoom in it kinda looks like a person just to the left of the "70%" sign!
איזה קניון זה?
Right there, in the image. What do you mean, 'where is this shopping mall'?
actually it's "what mall is this?" :p
