Holy crap at the dude tackling one of the shooters.
📹 “Gunman tackled by member of the public at Bondi Beach.” [The video below contains no gore, only one shot being fired somewhere off camera.]
Ahmed al Ahmed, a local fruit stand owner. He was shot twice, and is being hailed as a hero by the NSW premier.

Balls of lead man, absolute hero.
I'm assuming it's someone who thinks they're getting revenge for Israel's genocide in Gaza. Almost everyone I've met who would celebrate Hanukkah is no fan of Netanyahu's war crimes but I guess for some Jewish = Israeli.
The Zionists are guilty in that case. They're the ones pushing a narrative to the contrary.
Or a neo-Nazi, or some incel who has no coherent political views but a formless rage, and knows nothing about Jews except that killing them is very edgy and would eclipse the shame of being a virgin with a vast porn collection.
It's so insane to me that it was a father son duo. I mean maybe it makes more sense in a way, but holy shit.
The part a lot of people don't want to admit is just how close these two ideologies have gotten in the past two years
past two years
I don't think that's true.
Fascists have been like this since D'Annunzio.
Incels and neonazis?
Assuming helps nobody. Wait for the motives to be revealed by the investigators.
There's already a bunch of anti-Muslim statements rising on the usual places (YT, FB) because the only shooter identified so far has an Arabic-origin name.
the only shooter identified so far has an Arabic-origin name
So does the guy who tackled one of the shooters, apparently, but of course they won't be mentioning him, because he doesn't fit in their narrative...
Hero Bystander's family members landed to Sydney from Syria 6 months ago but no specific country of origin mentioned. So, say he is Syrian. His motive was to prevent more deaths. A humanitarian act as family described it. He also said that ‘God gave me strength. I believe I’m going to stop this person killing people’.
We can't generalize anything. On one side we see religious extremists shooting at people. On the other side (allegedly) same religion people acting out of the goodness of their heart. But no one can dismiss this being a religious attack.
i heard that on the news. where did you hear it not being mentioned?
They being the ones posting the usual bullshit on social media which the comment I was replying to mentioned.
Maybe.
But you're right that some people think that Jews and Israel are almost the same. It's part of Israel's propaganda.
My closest Jewish friend has shared how members of his family was forcibly removed from where they lived in Palestine because it was designated as an Arab zone during the same period as the Nakba. He blames zionists for it. At least his family didn’t end up stateless as a result, but I still can’t imagine how terrible being forced out of your home for something out of your control would be.
I am curious how the Palestinian Jews generally viewed the eastern European zionists fucking up the region.
He said his family was pissed as they felt the Zionist influx fucked up their community. Not sure how popular of a sentiment that was, though.
They don’t celebrate Hanukkah in Israel?
Hanukah is a traditional, albeit minor, Jewish holiday, it is mainly celebrated in the US to stop Jewish kids from getting jealous of their Christian peers getting to celebrate Christmas.
"Everyone I've met" (I have been to Israel a few times over my lifetime, but I haven't talked to anyone from there recently)
usually antisemites hate everything jewish.
Old use. Now antisemites usually hate children being raped to near death by packs of trained rape-dogs then shot in the head in a bombed out crater that used to be a hospital.
