For anyone who isn't aware of this yet Embark has a feedback survey going till Nov 24th. The last page of it has a couple of open ended questions where you can write down your thoughts on how they could improve the game or whatever. Worth a few minutes of your time if you enjoy this game as much as most of us seem to. I'd really hate to see this thing turn into a Tarkov-like, personally. I'm not asking them to turn it into some pure casual fluffy thing but smoothe it out somehow for those of us who play on the lighter side of the spectrum please!

The last couple of nights played roughly 30 solo raids, I've only run into maybe two other people with prox enabled, which was not the vibe in previous weeks. Almost nobody emotes lately either. So many KoS and campers. Tonight 6 out of 10 runs I got melted from behind by someone from far enough away that I couldn't have heard them first if I had tried. And/or exfil campers which are fine once in awhile, but not every damn run. It gets old. I'm going to turn cross-play off next time I go topside and see if that helps a bit.

I'm one of the millions that doesn't play pure shooters (anymore) and bought this game because I saw how friendly and fun the PvE and community were (past-tense intentional). Randos fighting arc and doing fun stuff and occassionally geting into a scrap with each other if shit gets weird. I can handle some PvP but if it becomes the dominant experience of the majority of my raids I'm just not going to play this game anymore. I play games to de-stress and relax and have fun. If I come out of a sesh pissed off, that's the opposite of what I'm looking for. If the vP overtakes the vE completely what's the point.

Lots of talk about a karma/rep system, I think that would be great. Something like the Dishonored series where the environment becomes increasingly hostile toward you as a player if you insist on being that way yourself. It would def help balance things. Also Embark has the data, they could try matching people with others who have similar k2d ratios or something. Not eliminate the PvP altogether from lobbies but weight it different so those folks going in strictly to KOS are with others who enjoy that kind of play. And vice versa. idk. Just venting at this point.

Take care and see you out there.
