It's a digital wellbeing thing. You can only see 4 pictures, after that you need to go out and play.

Hold me closer, Ed, it's getting dark... [coughs]

Very weird. I tried replicating this but I haven't been able to.

I can show you a video

I also tried on another device not running Android 14 and could not replicate this. I reinstalled the app and did a reset to default settings. I really like boost but this makes it near unusable.

Another detail: if I keep open and closing images, every time I go back to the feed, it's darker till it's totally black

I can add a detail: let's say I'm scrolling the "subscribed" feed, then I switch to "All" and I open an image; when I hit "back" the feed is grayed.
If I hit back again to see the "subscribed" feed, that is not grayed

Same here, sorry I didn't notice it and opened a new thread

Maybe someone will find the solution this time. What phone are you using?

Yeah, same. The more I use this phone the more I encounter bugs like this and it's kinda a bummer. My 3 previous phones were also Xiaomi and I feel like the software was never this bad.

We're going OT but Miui was never my favorite, although I decided to give it a spin... I would have already sell the phone but I'll wait for the new MiOS, coming the next weeks, then I'll see. Unfortunately, I now have doubt about what phone going to, I was looking for a Oneplus 11, since the Oxygen on my old Nord was great, but now they say it's a lot like miui...

My first Choice was the pixel 7 but they don't work with 5g in my country. I got a lot more interested in security and privacy since buying this phone which would give the pixel another advantage because you can install Graphene os on it.

I read somewhere that MiOS may move even further from the pure android experience. If that will be the case I will most likely sell the phone.
