Both lemmy and piefed have instance block. You will need to use the web interface though. Settings-> Blocks

You can block instances within Mlem from the menu in the top-right of the instance page.

Oh my Gucciness, I'm here trying to find a way to block *@ani.social communities, to no avail. You're talking about blocking instances?

Not going to name any but there are a couple instances I wouldn’t mind blocking. Would love to see this implemented.
