Ah yes: The stereotypical "you DON'T aCT lIke THE OTHer auTisTiC pEOplE I'Ve MET" line.

(Autism can manifest in variants of the diagnostic symptoms; there is no "one way" to "be" autistic.)


Also, diagnostic labels are labels; they don't change, but instead influence, the person.


I think Carl is autistic; his stims seem to be repetitive and he dislikes the puzzle set being incomplete.

(I am aware of only that episode though; so I can't really do a good analysis on Carl.)
