For all the years my SO and I have been together walking speed is still a point of contention. I am a fast walker and they are a slow walker. I try and regulate my speed but my ADD will hit and next thing I know we are half a mile apart.
And you realize you've been talking to air for 5 minutes.
It's super annoying. Being short, my stride length is also short.
Just to keep up with average height people, I basically have to power walk
I'm pretty proud of my wife for being quite a bit shorter than me, but has the same fast walking speed
