Don't be so sure. Honestly, even if this question would have made me feel uncomfortable in the moment, I can tell you that it would elevate my opinion of any candidate I was interviewing because it's actually a very thoughtful but also important thing to consider. I actually can't recall at the moment anybody ever asking something like this in any interview I've done -- normally it's the basic stuff like "do you like working here" or "can you walk me through your typical day" kind of questions.

I'm sure that in your interviews youre actually evaluating the candidate. My interviews are just to make sure I'm willing to actually show up.

It behooves you to ask the interviewer some questions, too. It helps to give you an idea about whether or not you want to work there.

There were definitely times when I had a bad interview, I still got the job, and I wished that I hadn't. Don't ignore warning signs because you're desperate! Sometimes it's better to have no job at all.

For the people that can't afford not to take the crappy job, sometimes it's best to just take it but keep looking for something better. Not everybody has money in the bank to be picky about employment.

Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

RULES:
