Who's going to tell him that about 91% of Mexicans are Christian, compared to 67% for Americans.

The important part is that his fans know what it means.

Our religion, white religion, white supremacy, seig heil, different words that mean the same thing. Can you blame them? "Those peoples" skin is the color of dirt while mine is a pleasant puked up banana tone. They definitely can't hold intelligence above them since the GOP don't got none.

pleasant puked up banana tone

Whoah now, mine is more of an inoffensive barfed up peach tone.

What religion is that, and be specific exactly which one you're talking about.

[-] Telorand@reddthat.com 34 points 1 year ago

American Fundamentalism, for which Trump is a prophet, messiah, and/or demigod.

Mammon worship, obviously.

He's gonna be pissed when he finds out how many current citizens also don't like "our" religion.

Religion is the opioid addiction of the masses (to paraphrase). How hard it must be to have to deal with life on realistic terms and solve problems using human ingenuity instead of a reliance on a supernatural entity to shower you with good or bad outcomes. I guess it's just easier not to have to shoulder the responsibility of being each other's keeper and helper on this planet.

I want him to learn there's no official language either.

I don’t like his “faked” religious beliefs.

Or him.

[-] Kalkaline@leminal.space 26 points 1 year ago

I guess 1st Amendment rights don't mean anything anymore.

Take him at his word and deport his orange ass to Ciudad Juarez since he doesn't like our religion.

[-] sagrotan@lemmy.world 26 points 1 year ago

[-] DirkMcCallahan@lemmy.world 24 points 1 year ago

And what religion is "our religion" in his view. A religion that believes anyone who isn't white is a scumbag. A religion that believes bigotry is somehow defensible. A religion that believes fondling women and treating them like scum is such a wonderful way to go through life. A religion that looking like a deteriorated Autumn squash is somehow attractive and powerful. Seems to me like the best course for any immigrant would be to enter this country by any means possible just go get under the skin of white nationalist losers like frump and his horrible sick followers.

[-] xc2215x@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Very ignorant of Trump.

[-] FunkyMonk@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

I can't wait to see him and his whole family compete for votes on Baby Billy's Bible Bonkers, I bet he and his will do -amerizing-

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Donald Trump has long been painting a picture of what he’ll do to the United States should he win back the White House next November.

His plans include everything from pulling America out of NATO, as Rolling Stone reported on Monday, to a sweeping, multi-faceted crackdown on immigration — which he elaborated on during a campaign speech in New Hampshire.

The First Amendment is widely interpreted to ensure the separation of church and state, and screening immigrants over their religious beliefs would appear to stand in pretty clear violation of the nation’s founding principles.

It’s of little concern to Trump, who has made abundantly clear that his first term in office was only a warm-up for the anti-immigrant measures he’s ready to implement if he’s reelected.

Trump spoke in New Hampshire on Monday shortly after he officially filed to participate in the state’s presidential primary.

Trump then suggested the media wouldn’t give him credit for making such a “genius” revelation before continuing to wonder why he’s never thought of as a great speaker despite drawing tens of thousands of people to his rallies.
