So with the upcoming Steam Frame release, I'm thinking about the possibilities. Steam Frame will have a full desktop environment, like the Steam Deck. Any guesses on how hard or easy it might be to throw dolphin on it, and use the controllers as emulated Wii Controllers?

My guess is Very Easy.
Dolphin is already compiled for ARM on Flatpak.
You might need to wait for SDL3 to gain support for properly reading the Frame Controllers or for the Dolphin devs to work out the nuances of mapping their Motion to the Emulated WiiMotes, but as soon as that's done, smooth sailing.

Same as it is on Deck. It's just a Deck in a different form factor from the user standpoint. Everything will operate the same.

Running Dolphin, sure, but what about using the vr controllers as wii controllers?

Same way you made it work on Deck, again. SteamInput will map controllers to input devices detected by Dolphin, and you map to whatever you need to map to in whatever way you want.
