Step 1) turn up heat in chamber and offer free drinks to all Republican house members and proceed to filibuster the next bill

Step 2) close all men’s rooms in the facility.

Step 3) place female police officers inside every women’s bathroom in the facility.

Step 4) put mug shots of every arrested Republican on the front page of the paper.

bonus: make them all register as sex offenders.

Police aren't going to help

[-] henfredemars@infosec.pub 11 points 2 weeks ago

They're already registered Republicans.

[-] hissingmeerkat@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

The Republicans have distilled their hatred to be only for "biological sex" and included a specific exemption for that in the text of the bill.

That sounds a lot like that king of the hill episode lol

[-] heiligerbimbam@lemmy.wtf 13 points 2 weeks ago

Lesser Idaho keeps going lower & lower & …

[-] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

How about we just make seperate bathrooms for MAGA. I don't want those peeping Toms and Tammy trying to look at my private parts.

[-] Bakkoda@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

The collapse. If you can measure the sanity of an empire by it's laws, this is stage 7 rot.

[-] FishFace@piefed.social 2 points 2 weeks ago

Even if you're a raging transphobe and actually believe trans people shouldn't/don't exist, 5 years in jail for going in the wrong bathroom is fucking insane and kind of gives the game away that these people are performatively cruel shitstains. (In case there was any doubt)

[-] 8bittech@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Piss in the streets, lesser fine.

In Idaho, public defecation is considered a misdemeanor offense, typically resulting in penalties of up to 90 days in county jail and/or a fine of up to $300, depending on local city ordinances. It is illegal to defecate in public, including on streets, in parks, or in public buildings.

That's a really good point. Just drop your drawers and take a shit on the floor in front of the bathroom since you're not allowed in. 3 months is better than 5 years!

Also, it's goddamned ridiculous that it's far less serious to publicly defecate than to go in a bathroom and use a toilet.

Quick question: If a person is sentenced to 5 years in prison for this, and they need the bathroom while in the prison… do they get another 5 years every time they go?

[-] Anarki_@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 2 weeks ago

Of course. American prison is about punishment, not making people better.

[-] village604@adultswim.fan 1 points 2 weeks ago

They would go to a prison for their birth gender, so no.

Let's start a gofundme to send Buck Angel to Idaho. They'll change their mind when they see Buck and which bathroom they've now legislated him to use.

[-] nightlily@leminal.space 1 points 2 weeks ago

Stop using trans men like this. It doesn’t work like that and never has. Actually doing it would put trans men at further risk of violence, and these legislators do not care one bit about who is using the bathrooms or not. They just want to criminalise being trans in public, which this is very effective at doing - since you can’t safely use either bathroom in reality.
