Are we serious, dude? Why are they suggesting i do it in this order?

"Start in northumbria, go all the way to bristpl and then teleport to the other side of wales"

Looks like one should start in the #8 or #7 stretch if they want to actually continuously circumnavigate the edges of england.

I wouldn't blame them for doing it but I wasn't aware of a trench being dug across the border with Scotland.

We would, but unfortunately in the lowlands we've too many people that haven't got any shovels. They're douglas!

Apparently Wales already has a complete coastal path, so you have to walk the entirety of Wales before getting to 8!

It (mostly) gives access between the path and the sea too! Rules are here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/manage-your-land-on-the-england-coast-path

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
