Not here to ask about setup or anything, ive been using Retroids for 2 or 3 years now. Was gifted a 16gb Odin 3, and ive seen people run RE9 on it surprisingly smoothly. Anyone tried pc/steam emulation on it with Gamenative or stuff? How's the compatibility? Ps3 emulation have anything thatd be playable? Switch, I know most games I'd want run well enough on older hardware.

Fucking love android emulation its super fun to me. Stoked to get this thing set up and going. Might start with some Risk of Rain 2 tonight. Ran fine on my old shit, but it'll be nice to have a bigger screen for reading the item text.

I don't have one, but there's a youtuber I follow who's talked about PC emulation on it: https://youtu.be/sqptnpn_NWQ

EDIT: This also seems like a good video for general setup: https://youtu.be/tETxR8nFTDE

If you need bios files or specific roms you're always welcome to hit me up on matrix (I'm in the gaming chat) as I tend to digitally hoard that kind of stuff.

Hell yeah, how stacked are you on Switch NSPs? There's a few i wouldnt mind having, but like...i also haven't really looked yet, and havent had a hard time finding stuff so far. If you have a lot, I'll shoot you a message!

I definitely have a few good ones. File sizes on those are large so not sure how to share them, but we can figure out a way I’m sure. Looks like I have 23 and some are well known, some not. I can’t copy and paste the list at the moment but feel free to ping me when you’re on matrix and I’ll try to respond as soon as I can.

Thats a massive upgrade, congrats!

I did finally have successes with winlator and a bit with gamehub. Winlator is still super confusing cuz there's so many moving parts and different forks to try.

I'm be happy to talk about it but I can't think what to say without typing ten thousand words. Its so surreal playing pc games I still think of as advanced on a tablet and having it keep up.

I have been enjoying psx emulated katamari damacy a fair bit recently too, it looks so ridiculously good.

Hell yeah, i got the 16gb version so should be solidly future proof.

Have you tried Gamenative yet? Winlator...too daunting, but I had a good experience playing Hades 2 on GameHub on the retroid. That said, seems like people say Gamenative has a higher compatibility rate overall. Will do some testing.

I haven't, I'll have to check it out. I think I might have seen it mentioned and assumed it was the same thing as gamehub or a rebranding of it or something. idk why.

16gb with an elite would handle so much stuff. It's so surreal how fast mobile processors go with the right workloads now. like how am I playing for-their-era AAA games on something less than 10mm thick? wtf
