Calamari exists on English too, I wonder where it is borrowed from
Calamari is Italian for squid. We just call the food calamari in English but it's just ripped from Italian, not really an English word.
Every language has loanwords, and they become part of that language when enough people use them.
...and Jalmari is a common Finnish male name.
He is called shafiq(شفيق) in Arabic.
