What do OK Go have to do with Oklahoma? Did Oklahoma say something about using the abbreviation of their state name or something? Wikipedia says they are from Chicago and now based out of Los Angeles. (The name is a reference to something someone said, and "OK" here is an abbreviation for "Okay" (and probably a style choice alongside "Go" which is also two letters).
OK Go got a little resurgence with Rockband and "Here it Goes Again" (not on that album). And such a cool music video (on treadmills). I'm sure that song got more people to go back and listen to them. While it might be embarrassing bordering on cringe for those of us who grew up on these albums to hear people say they played the songs in Rockband... I personally think it's way better than hearing it on TikTok. While both are digital mediums that lose some of that analogue quality, one shortens the songs down to seconds, while the other is a product made by musicians to try to make gamers chasing a high score appreciate what goes into making music a bit more.
