Not sure what happened here, but when I went to edit my comment in that other post, it opened like this and (a) only showed the first line, and (b) wouldn’t let me tap in to edit. Locking and unlocking the phone got the full comment back and I was able to edit, but still tapping to move the caret was broken.

Hope that makes sense :)

I have this issue and I am in the TestFlight.

Sometimes you can get it unstuck.

I also bounce between Mlem and Voyager. I love both of them, but sometimes bouncing back to the other one feels special. I mean, if I'm on the go, i.e. I don't have my MacBook with me, I just use the other one.

Is it related to this issue? https://github.com/mlemgroup/mlem/issues/2684

Or this? https://github.com/mlemgroup/mlem/issues/2727

I have had an issue lately that I have not posted as a bug yet, where when editing a long post/comment I stop being able to move the cursor, but can still type.

It’s similar to that first one except I wasn’t able to make any change until I locked my phone and unlocked it again. There may have been other solutions but I couldn’t find them quickly.

I think the two are connected (your issue noted and me bug report). I just tried to edit a comment (spelling error) and the full comment did not load, I hit space as I normally do to make it all appear. But then I could not move my cursor. I ended up swiping Mlem closed and reopening to get into edit again.
