They certainly vocalise a lot more than their wild relatives. Many cats learn to associate words with objects or learn their name. All picked up from their human families.

They probably control it with their smartphone app. The cat can't unlock the phone (the cat isn't a hacker and doesn't think digital watches are neat)

Cats can learn tricks, words and gestures. They also really like strict routines.
