come on nvidia get with the program.
You need to introduce an ad tier for the same price as your current lowest tier, then raise all the prices of the current tiers up 10-50%
Next have usage limits, and then if a user goes over an approved quota for a day they have a cooldown which can be bypassed for 5 hours if they pony up 500 points. 500 points will cost $7.36.
Your ad tier should have very short ads to start. 15 seconds or less when you launch a game. Over the next five years I want to see those ad times up to at minimum 25% of usage time. Schedule breaks that a user can postpone for up to 30 minutes, and require user interaction with the ads' minigames so that we can prove engagement. Give players 50 free points for each ad they click. For 250 points you can postpone ads for 2 hours. For 2000 points you won't have ads for a week! Let's go!
Have customized offers where each user is given customized promotions based on their play and purchase history. You know, those users in the bottom 50 percent of usage get promotions to upgrade tiers for "free" for x months, hoping they will ignore the price increase once it drops. The big hogs of the service will be offered 10% off extra credits.
The true whales who keep buying will get a new hidden tier that is usage based with an upfront pre-paid buy for 6 months or a year with credits included (but again, still a tiny discount. We want lock-in, not a decrease in revenue or margin.)
Finally with each session have a prompt to tip. People who do not tip have to wait for the next available session in a queue. The ones who tip at least 500 points jump the line and get in RIGHT NOW for a whole hour no matter how often they swap games.
Get with the program. Those data centers won't build themselves!
