For real man, when i built my first pc back in 2017 i already overpayed a bit for my 1070 because at the time the first crypto wave started to hit. Almost a decade later and we barely had GPUs for actual msrp since then.

Which just means I still dont find the prices worth it, so I'll continue not to buy a new GPU.

I have considered buying one of the Intel dgpu's, but right now I'm just not bothering. I'd like to upgrade my htpc, but thats just going to be swapping out a newer lenovo tiny for the one thats there, no dgpu unless I replace one of the ones thats a server (the p330s) in my cluster. And even then its an older quadro 620, so who cares.

The only times I go near any of the newer stuff is because they are for work stuff. Doing fun things with an $8k GPU is fun, but I'm still not spending $8k on a GPU. Fuck that.
