Despite not having the same burial customs, I have no doubt the freedumb anti-mask types would do exactly the same shit if an outbreak got as bad here in the US

Totally! Except the current crop of anti-maskers doesn't seem to care about their kin, so retrieving their bodies is probably an effort too far. If it were the cult leader, then maybe?

We have come a long way in defending ourselves against traditional natural selection. But despite advanced technology, gocernance, societal wisdom and knowledge, and all odds heavily in our favour compared to other living things, there will always be a proportion that exceeds expectations. Natural selection will always regulate us like any other species.
