The "expand here"s are working perfectly for me.

I can't remember if open links in a new tab is a reddit thing or a res setting.

Also, is there a "res" for lemmy?

No there isn't. The Lemmy devs decided that is not a function they will implement and they are odd for not doing it.

As a workaround you can use your mouse wheel button to open stuff in new tabs.

Fuck usability I guess. What if people are browsing on a laptop with a touch pad? It's such an easy to implement thing too.

I know. It is such a pain. You can also hold Ctrl when clicking a link to open in a new tab.
