Note to self: That does NOT say TickTok
This thread is now dedicated to finding a FOSS alternative to TikTok
We need to fork peertube for short form content and call it FlikFlok
Nah I think The Fediverse Short-Form Media Hosting Platform has a better ring
ooo you may be on to something! It really rolls off the tongue! Add a few words and turn it into a recursive acronym and nobody will be able to resist the raw marketing genius!
Ah this makes more sense! I was wondering how OP was using tiktok for a todo list
super productivity is pretty good.
You can also sync between your phone, desktop, etc using different sync options including Dropbox, webdav, local file, etc
Man, how have I not come across this before. I and I know so many others have been looking for exactly this for quite some time.
Why there are so many to-do apps that are subscription based is beyond me.
It actually looks awesome. Thanks! I'll try it out.
I have never been able to find a foss app that's as good as TickTick.
I tried various apps like tasks.org and more, but I kept coming back to TickTick
If you're a real nerd, you could look into org-mode. Doom-Emacs is great on the deskrop and Orgzly is awesome on my phone. Orgzly also has some useful widgets. No luck on natural language dates, tho
I use the tasks function that comes with my email (mailbox). But, this would work with any WebDAV capable server.
- I can use it on the web
- I can interact with it on Android using https://tasks.org/
- It has a voice function for creating reminders and a widget
- On desktop I use todoman but other apps work as well
- The tasks are shown on my calendars as well
This is what I do, too (similar), though SP might be better for OP.
I installed https://vikunja.io/ last week, it has nice features.
The main one for me is the ability to set a repeating task, when I mark it as done it reappears with the next due date.
