Also, book banners are fascists who won't stop at books.

You only say that because it has been 100% true throughout history.

They never apply it consistently either. Ever read the bible, beyond the few verses constantly repeated in church? That thing is NSFW as all hell, and should never be shown to kids.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been the worst thing to happen to this state in a while. I live here but she has really changed things here.

For being in the south, Arkansas is/was fairly libertarian and more aligned with western states as far as government was concerned, but for the last few years it has really regressed.

Wtaf. I'm so baffled by how far these people are willing to go in the name of taking things away from other people's kids.

Clown world 🤡 Edit: apparently this saying is a far right dog whistle. I used it without knowing, sorry about that, it wasn't my meaning

[-] Drusas@kbin.social 12 points 2 years ago

It would be clown world if it hadn't been blocked.

[-] rhino_hornbill@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago

This phrase is a fascist dog whistle, it's not general purpose.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
