I know right. I have been using it since like a week after it started. It has come a long way since then, but its stayed top notch.
Thanks for all the kind words, it has honestly been a wild ride so far working on Thunder. Personally, I've been learning a ton about app development in general from this, and continue to learn more as I work on improving Thunder. Knowing that other people enjoy Thunder is what drives me to continue work on it!
This is still mainly a one-to-two person project (albeit with a ton of help from the community) so any contributions (development related or not) are always appreciated!
Yeah, it's been my favorite UI wise since it started, even with the first build not working. Now it supports like every feature id use
Does it have any features that Voyager is missing?
"Scrape missing external link previews" is really nice and something Voyager doesn't have.
Agreed. Love it.
Just checking it out now. Used Sync and quite happy minus the ads. Is there a way to set the vote/comment links to the right? Otherwise, looks beautiful!
Ads? Why the hell would you use a Lemmy client with ads? There aren't even ads ON Lemmy.
At the OP, I use Eternity Eternity for Lemmy is the drop in replacement for "infinity for reddit."
I appreciate the input. Can't stand ads but guess thought was a trade off for the developers. Started off with Jerboa and good for what it was trying to bridge at the big exodus but not great. Then went to Liftoff and Connect but nither jived with me. Not polished. Sync was the first quality app that helped me enjoy Lemmy the way I had with Reddit. Eternity looks great so far. Very happy to give it a whirl. Thank you!
Anyone care to explain their down votes? Genuinely curious on this one.
Kbin would be awesome. Thunder is amazing as it is though
Honestly, loving Sync. It does have ads, but they are VERY ignorable. If they get too greedy I can always swap to another client.
