Suggestions for cartoons (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

Ive been on a cartoon binge this past month or so. I've watched The Owl House, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Steven Universe, Kipo and the age of Wonderbeasts, She-Ra...
I'm looking for more recommendations that include queer characters. Cartoons are preferred, anime is cool too (mainly if it has a good dub), and i'm also open to real shows if they're good!

Also only sorta related, but anyone got some advice on consuming Sailor Moon? Is the manga better? Also is there an order to the anime/movies, im a little lost on where to start.

Well, i can recommend infinity train. Elevator pitch: theres a train with passengers. Each passenger must work through their trauma to get off the train. Its not explicitly queer tho.

Ive also heard good things about star vs the forces of evil, but havent watched it myself, and dont know much about it.

I heard Star drops in quality after season 2

I recommend Harley Quinn. The show starts off as empowerment for Harley. Halfway through season two she gets feelings for her best friend, poison Ivy, and in season 3 they start dating. Season 4 just started last week.

Helluva Boss currently has 14 episodes that are free on youtube. It features an almost entirely queer cast as far as I'm aware. The show centers around demon bounty hunters and there's a fair amount of world building around the in-universe hell so far.

Nimona and there's a bit in The Legend of Korra.

For anime there's Wandering Son (trans), Yuri on Ice (gay, didn't see the hype myself), and I'm currently working through S1 of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury which my housemate and I refer to as Space Lesbians - though technically its more bi. I watch subs, so can't comment on dubs.

Husband and I just finished the series "Dead End: Paranormal Park", and loved it. I'm also considering reading the graphic novels ("DeadEndia"). Multiple trans and queer characters. "Two teenagers and a talking pug work together to fight demons in a haunted amusement park. The two slowly start to grow into themselves as they face zombies, game show hosts, witches, and crushes."

We also liked "The Hollow". "Three teens work together to find a way home after waking up in a mysterious realm filled with magic portals, strange puzzles, and nasty beasts."

In addition to all of the above I recommend The Dragon Prince on Netflix, there's a few LGBT characters on there, a couple if which play very prominent roles in later seasons. Season 4 drops off in quality a bit but it picks back up in season 5.

Star Trek Lower Decks has a bit of representation too, and you don't need to like Star Trek to enjoy it.

The last episode of Ghost and Molly McGee nods to one of the big supporting characters being lesbian or bi.

Craig of the Creek is for younger audiences but has a bunch of lgbtq characters, including a lesbian kiss scene! It's very good at all sorts of representation.

One of the main characters in The Great North is gay and out. It's a fairly chill comfort show I'd say but different from the ones above.

The main protagonist of Dragon Age: Absolution is a lesbian but that's not specifically a central part of the story.

There's a bit of representation in Vox Machina, but be warned it's quite violent and bloody at times. Same for Castlevania but my god that was an amazing show. There's even a MMF sex scene, but I won't give away much more on that.

Those are some that come to mind for now but I'm certain there's more. Enjoy!

Edit: I just noticed you didn't list Adventure Time. If you liked all of the cartoons you listed you -must- watch Adventure Time! There's a wee bit of lgbt rep in there too.
