No "swipe to hide post". The only swipe actions I can find on Infinity are up/down vote.

I didn't like infinity because of a big pile of little things. half of which could be described as just habit.

probably I wouldn't have been okay to stick with it but Sync came to lemmy. sync > infinity hands down. try it.

From my brief testing with infinity, it does seem pretty good. I like that the feed doesn't bounce around like liftoff as images load. But sync just has much more customization. If I wasn't willing to pay, I'd probably be using infinity. But I had years of use with sync and that improved experience is worth the cost for me.
