The Oregon for anyone interested https://xkcd.com/356/

P.S. I had to look at someone stretching their butthole open with both hands for this, your welcome.

I google xkcd nerd sniper and went to images. The very first fucking option was the comic where the last panel was just a pic of someone stretching their asshole open.

Same with mechanical keyboard nerds but they also have an effect of throwing switches at you at high speeds.

I'll never understand the fixation with keyboards

It's like audiophilia but for fingers.

Hey the sounds play a big part too! It benefits 4 senses: Visual, Auditory, Sensory and Pride

[-] Isbjerg@feddit.dk 2 points 1 year ago

And of those, pride is the biggest. I'm really proud of my keyboards.

I didn't get it either but I got a mechanical keyboard and I can say typing all my papers feels nicer. It makes sense for people that type a lot.

[-] Holzkohlen@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago

Me neither. Though I do enjoy my mechanical keyboard. Got a fairly cheap Logitech one, MX browns and white only backlighting. Pretty dope

I don't want to ask but ... what does "ricer" even mean?

[-] Cratermaker@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 1 year ago

Originated in car culture to describe people who take Japanese economy cars and make them look like they're from The Fast And The Furious while doing nothing to improve actual performance.

Are arch linux ricers worth 3 or 5 points?

[-] emstuff@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 year ago

waiting for the win1-core rice in the comments

Inb4 someone asks how to do this

[-] milkisklim@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

It's pretty simple!

first you find a group of people you want to have run over by a lorry.

Second you print out an interesting puzzle retaltes to their field.

Third you wait until they cross a road and present the puzzle

Fourth, ???

Fifth Profit.
