They've been saying this for 20 years. We're just cooking like frogs.

It's about time we start acknowledging this is already a global catastrophe hidden by the pandemic.

I believe the pandemic is a direct result of the global catastrophe. Increased temps result in increased viruses and new coming out of places that were once frozen. Germs, disease etc are probably loving the increased temps and are thriving.

I think this is the wrong way of looking at the future. We should be thinking long term without giving up. Its easy to say "we are all going to die" instead of actually planning. People these days live to much in the moment.

I don't have a problem with profits. If you are thinking about profits long term that's still way better than thinking in the short term.

The key is for the law makers to be on top of law making.
