Logistical, it is a nightmare to have military presence in the red sea from now on. Muslims and Arab countries are controlling the area up to the "Strait of Gibraltar"

There were plans to run a gas line from the Arab/Parisian Gulf to the Mediterranean running through Gaza. ( Israel anounce that a while back in the UN ) which could work for oil and gas however, for trade, if the US and UK decided to continue with force, they will have to deal with Somalia, Sudan, Egypt, Laybia, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

Not necessary governments, but also resistance groups that now knows how effective this is.

I think the US and the UK should not waste time attacking Yemen unless if they plan to expand the wars further.

Just a matter of time till there’s a huge oil spill

Lmaoo they're targeting br*tish ships now too cuz they bombed Yemen. Incredibly based.

Also funny seeing ships announcing they're not supplying Israel so Yemen doesn't attack them, which are mostly Russian or Chinese ships.

Sounds like a great reason to invade Iran and Yemen...

Even if they wanted, the US can't afford the invasion in terms of human resources. Too much of their fleet is focused on Taiwan at the moment.

Isn’t the US military setup to fight 2 wars at the same time so it would be possible just unlikely.

I think there might be a difference between what US officials say and what is actually true. They're having a real hard time meeting recruiting quotas. Plus recent invasions haven't really supported the idea that the US is able to win invasions it starts.

Not for decades, Nato’s scaled back to only having the capacity to fight on one front while holding another.

1 major war (Russia or china) and a regional conflict (Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Canada, etc.).

I mean if you cant invade just bomb them until they stop. Even if you have to level the entire area.

[-] Doubledee@hexbear.net 7 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

Yeah but they're trying that. The Saudis tried that for like a decade before they started. It's harder than it appears to bomb a nation into submission.

Edit: just in case someone says some genocidal thing about collectively punishing an entire ethnic group, if you're from certain communities in the fediverse I probably can't see your comments, but that would obviously be a horrific crime to actually do.

You should apply to join the army, you have the qualifications for it.

On side note, you should look at the map for a bit maybe it will help you in your career.
