I'm sad at how few alternatives I've been able to find for my go-to subs. Thankfully, the piracy community is nailing it.
Agreed but as time goes on and the community grows these things will come! The piracy community in general i think is pretty quick to switch platforms because we're so used to main hubs going down overnight (i.e. rarbg, kat, etc) and having to find the new spot.
That's a good point. We're nomads. :)
we are pirates. we r used to abandoning and changing ships during and after rough seas..yarr
Yeah the private tracker community should know how to shuffle around between communities pretty well.
Yup, we're particularly well versed in adapting and quick to adjust/ move on. We're survivors and know things don't necessarily last, just the community and data. I feel like we're well attuned to being some of the early adopters of a multitude of things.
Luckly I don't foresee us leaving Lemmy in the near future, Fediverse overall isn't super thrilled about current corporate practices and copyright law so I've often seen piracy supported.
As a previous mod, I haven't seen any push, and if I don't get a response soon, I may open up here.
Consider me pushing! Lol
Well you guys seem to want it lol so let me see what all I need to do, and give me by the weekend and I'll have it figured out and hopefully up! Just note that I'm not aware of anything open at the moment, so I'll need peoples eyes and ears open!
Technically you could just start posting in opensignups@lemmy.ml.
This is very true, and to be fair, I would, if I knew Anywhere open for signups
