I love Monero. I love the idea, execution, speed and the community around it.

But this community can't be as blind to the fact that Monero can't disconnect from FIAT soon.

1 XMR = 1 XMR is what I see here all the time, but that's not true. You need to work for that 1 XMR, and your time has value, and that value still lives in FIAT zone.

The P2P puts a crazy amount of overhead on XMR to use the fact it's a twilight crypto now.

We've seen people here trying their best to adapt XMR as a usable currency, and watched them all fail one after another after some time. Like the dude that sold silver on his website in exchange for Monero.

I'm too stupid to have a solution, but I'm smart enough not to repeat wishy washy slogans like "good we're being delisted, now Monero will shine" - it is not good. Not at all. I don't want Privacy to be a component of Dark Web and Shady p2p websites. I want privacy to be a privelage respected by governments. I don't want monero to be a underground crypto. I want it to be mainstream, respected and utilised according to THE RIGHT to privacy.
