Full disclosure, I lost like right at 1.5 K in BTC on cake wallet before due to their horrific "random" mnemonic seed generator. I've been told this has been fixed since then but to be honest I have hated them with a burning passion ever since. HOWEVER, Vik literally has comments you can look up telling people that "mobile wallets are safer than desktop wallets" (look that shit up in his comments) keep in mind the mobile cake wallet got hacked and lost people thousands and this man defends it this way. He spent half a million dollars on the monero.com domain that provides a quick way to buy monero -using your bank card- or other crypto that can (potentially) be traced back to you. Mixed in with the fact that one of the lead devs left and is doing chain analytics and yes I see this has been discussed and I see like Vik and the same 3 or 4 other accounts coming to his defense. Everything this community is trying to avoid happening to Monero (centralization, censorship and\or node sniffing, transaction tracing) is currently happening with Cake. Be careful
