At least Roombo-cops won't be racist.
Sadly if you train your AI on racist data, you get a racist robot. So that's not a given.
Ai vision tends not to see black people, so black people are safe.
Reminds me of the Better Off Ted episode where their workplace adds automatic sensors for things like water fountains. They find out the sensors don't work on dark skin so they fix the issue by installing a special water fountain for dark skinned people.
That show was so underappreciated. And that episode is usually the one I recommend for people checking it out for the first time.
