Built back in 2015 so the cellphone picture quality isn't great by today's standards.

I was just getting into woodworking as a hobby back then and my mom asked if I would turn her entryway closet into something with more open space. This was the result.

Very good! How did you make the white surface, "only" painting it (looks perfect)?

Thanks, mostly just taking the time to do the proper prep work and a high quality paint.

All nail holes get filled with wood filler and sanded flush as well as any joint seams. Then you go around all the trim with painters caulk to make the transition to the wall seamless.
