Anyone else notice that you can still access reddit through rif if you're not logged in? I noticed after opening the app out of habit haha. You can even view NSFW content, so I'm not really sure what's going on.

Btw OP... are you / we even able to sign back into RIF? It said "credentials no longer valid". I'm curious if it's just me or everyone.

No I am not. So it seems we're barred from being able to log in, but not access content, which is pretty weird I think. I also get the same error.

I checked after I saw other people mention it today and yeah it seems that way. I'm guessing this is the part where spez reveals this was all a hilarious joke

I was just scrolling to see if other realized this. Cause I just found out. Kinda of a monkey paw situation lol

so I'm not really sure what's going on.

Most likely, Reddit fucked up their change. It would not surprise me in the least.

Turns out it takes more than a month to develop test and deploy reliable code, who'd have thunk it

Not spez, obviously. Although given Reddit's track record for how long it takes to push out new features, you'd think he'd be well aware.

No, I didn't know because Reddit doesn't exist anymore. ☠️

Yeah, I Still have the app on my phone, I can't bring myself to delete it yet. I clicked it today by habit, and it loaded Reddit up. Can't login, but can still browse.
