Interesting quote about adoption of Bitcoin in El Salvador:

The authors had expected that people might be skeptical of Bitcoin because of the volatility (and therefore risk) of cryptocurrencies in general. But instead, people shared that they did not trust the app or Bitcoin because they are not anonymous, as cash is. The latter explains why Chivo Wallet was not even used to conduct transactions in dollars.

As you can see, people naturally want private transactions. Cash is private but requires physical transfer. Monero is private digital cash and that is its only focus. What's happening now is that the world doesn't know that Monero exists. We need to educate people about Monero and that you don't need the government's permission to start using it peer to peer.

Even though the price is low, Monero's future is bright. There are many things to look forward to! Full chain membership proofs (FCMP). Seraphis. P2P exchanges like localmonero, Serai, Haveno. Atomic swaps with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.
