Last year I started with BeefSteak tomatoes which were a little too unwieldy on my small balcony garden. This year I switched to a smaller Roma type tomatoes.

Amish paste?

I usually grow those and romas for my sauce tomatoes.

Love San Marzano for my sauces personally

Not really sure honestly. The little stick just said "paste Tomatoe" so I don't even know if they are Roma 100%.

I started an Amish Paste from seed this year and eagerly anticipating the result. My climate and growing season are suited for small globes and cherries, but I've heard such wonderful things about this specific variety. ๐Ÿ˜„

I have tried so many times to grow tomatos in containers, but they always end up really tiny, and the vines get a bit mouldy. I thought maybe I was watering too much, but when I tried to cut back with another plant, they wilt and also seem miserable! Yours look great though, very jealous.

Sounds like it could be a humidity issue, not a water issue. Maybe try moving them to a warm area that gets good air flow?

True... I do live in a very humid area too, maybe tomatos just aren't the right thing for me to grow...
